The Veamar project is dedicated to the professional preparation of oyster and scallop shells (vieira/zamburiña) for decoration, interior design, crafts, and creative production. The aim is to provide a natural, stable, and aesthetically uniform material for businesses and professionals working with organic elements and sustainable solutions.
Given the growing demand for natural materials for decoration and the importance of a reliable supply chain, Veamar seeks to establish stable collaborations with entities that can provide or use prepared shells in different contexts. The main areas of collaboration are outlined below.
1. Shell suppliers (farms, restaurants, distributors, processors)
Collaboration with companies that generate shells as a byproduct and wish to manage them responsibly and add value. To ensure a steady material flow, the project accepts and values oyster and scallop shells (vieira/zamburiña), whether unwashed, rinsed, mixed, or sorted by size.
